01 STEP 1

Beat the egg.

Crack the egg into the small bowl, if it has not already been prepared. Gently beat it with your chopsticks until the yolk and white are mixed.

About the eggRaw egg is a traditional accompaniment, but it is optional. If you prefer not to eat raw egg, enjoy your sukiyaki without it or ask our staff.

02 STEP 2

Let the ingredients cook.

Let the beef and other ingredients cook in the simmering sukiyaki sauce. Make sure the meat is cooked through before you eat it.

Enjoy the ingredients a little at a time, taking care around the hot pot.

03 STEP 3

Dip, then enjoy.

Dip a cooked piece of Wagyu into the beaten egg, then enjoy. The egg gently coats the beef, bringing the flavours together.

You can enjoy the cooked vegetables, tofu and other ingredients in the same way. Eat them with rice, at your own pace.

04 STEP 4

Save room for the udon.

Finish with udon noodles in the pot. Let them heat through and take on the flavour of the beef, vegetables and sukiyaki sauce.

Enjoy the noodles on their own, or dip them into the beaten egg if you wish.

A note about the sauceIf you would like to sip the sauce, first dilute a little with the hot water provided in the kettle. Ask our staff if you need help, and take care: the water is hot.
